Kingdom Hearts 3 Plot: Disney Wants Series to End With A Light Tone

Square Enix released the trailer of Kingdom Hearts 3 at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June 2015. It is an action RPG coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Recently, Tetsuya Nomura, video game designer at Square Enix, revealed interesting details about the title.

Nomura from Square Enix shared the latest details on the project in an interview with GamesTM. He said that the development team started from the ground up as they switched game engines. A single game reportedly has consumed so much time in development.

When asked about the future of Kingdom Hearts, Nomura replied that he has not discussed the end of the game series with Disney. According to him, he doesn’t know the intentions of Disney on the game, and the future of the franchise depends on how long people will love the game and how long Nomura will work on the title himself.

Speaking about the involvement of Disney, Nomura also dispelled rumors of a disagreement between Disney and himself. When asked if he was ever stopped by Disney from doing something in the project, Nomura shared that Disney is also interested in the game as the Disney world is part of the franchise. Disney apparently just asked the writing team to give the story a happy ending or a lighter tone, according to Nomura.

Kingdom Hearts III brings players into a legendary setting of Disney world where they are accompanied by Disney characters such as Donald, Mickey and Goofy. The game’s protagonist is Sora, who goes on a quest. Kingdom Hearts III has been considered as the end of the phase Dark Seeker Saga in the Kingdom Hearts franchise.

Square Enix has not released any official statement regarding the release date of Kingdom Hearts 3. The game is still in development and will be available for PlayStation4 and Xbox One.

'Rocket League' DLC is coming next month with season one rewards

“Rocket League” has been receiving fresh content from the developer Psyonix since its launch. The game was released last year, and it seems like this year is also going to be great for “Rocket League” fans. Developer Psyonix has just announced the next update for “Rocket League,” which will be available in February. With this update, “Rocket League” Season 1 will come to an end, and the next update is bringing special crowns for players according to their performance in the first season.

Game developer Psyonix has announced via the Steam Community page that any “Rocket League” player with Bronze Division or higher in the Ranked Play Ladder will earn rewards. Eligible players will earn Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze Crown topper for their vehicle. The crown level will depend on the rankings they achieved in the first season of “Rocket League.”

The reward system introduced by the “Rocket League” developer is good news for players struggling to get higher rankings. Those who haven’t achieved better ranking can play ranking-based matches to attain Bronze status or higher to be eligible for crowns. Psyonix has detailed that if a player gets Silver II in 1v1 and Gold I in 2v2, the player would get a Gold Crown.

Along with the “Rocket League” Season 1 rewards, Psyonix is also introducing another change coming in February’s patch. The update will introduce quality tag and color system for items. Players will be able to identify the item quality through three color codes. Premium items will be in green, while the limited and common items will be featured in orange and grey, respectively.

Additionally, Psyonix is introducing a new item quality: uncommon. The uncommon item will be marked in light blue and will be available for players who complete online-only matches. This new item quality will feature new Toppers and Antennas for the Battle-Car.
“Rocket League” will also have a system that will categorize garage items by rarity. Fans can expect more announcements about the “Rocket League” Season 2 on Jan. 22. The new DLC is expected to arrive sometime in February.

The Division Beta PC File Size Leaked By A Game Tester

“The Division” beta for PC and PlayStation 4 will kick off on Jan. 29, and Xbox One players will get 24-hour early access on Jan. 28. “Tom Clancy’s The Division” is among the highly anticipated games of 2016, and a fan with early access has revealed the game size, which is over 26 GB.

A Reddit user called Legate213 has shared the size of the test for “The Division.” The fan claims that he is testing the game and that “The Division” beta for PC will be 26.25 GB in size. The user also shared the screenshot of the UPlay download of the beta file for “Tom Clancy’s The Division.”

Xbox One users may recall that a closed alpha gameplay hosted in December 2015 was roughly the same size. Although the session held in December was only for a number of Xbox One users, Ubisoft announced that PS4 and PC users, along with other Xbox One fans who have registered for “The Division” beta, will be able to play the game in January.

“The Division” beta for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is starting next week, but the user has confirmed his access to the game through the details he shared. “The Division” fans asked the user about such early access, and Legate213 said that he works for a gaming company and is testing “The Division” game.

The user also stated that a private session is starting today, and those who have been approved for the official “The Division” beta on PC can join the session on Jan. 29. While the user is already downloading the beta since he is part of the private test session, preloading is not available for the public.

Considering the recent PC graphics options leak and gameplay videos of “The Division,” the reported huge file size of the game’s beta for PC seems to make sense. The beta session will run for three days and will offer gamers plenty of graphic choices. “The Division” beta players can adjust the quality of individual object details and have 55-56 FPS on low settings. It also allows players to enable wind-affected snow.

“Tom Clancy’s The Division” is set to release on March 8 for PlayStation, Xbox One and PC.
