Vampire Diaries Season 8 Spoilers: Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev reunion unlikely as Nikki Reed bans the duo from working together

Fans of The Vampire Diaries are eagerly anticipating an on-screen reunion of Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev. With Somerhalder confirming that The Vampire Diaries Season 8 will be his last, the chance of seeing the duo together is slowly declining. What could potentially end any further opportunity is Nikki Reed banning the actor from working with Dobrev ever again, if she was to return to the hit show.

Reed has banned Somerhalder from meeting Dobrev before and a recent instance was in 2015 during the Teen Choice Awards. The duo were given an award for Best Kiss and according to the history of the event, the winners exchange a kiss onstage. However, Somerhalder skipped the event and Dobrev accepted it on his behalf, according to KpopStarz.

If rumors are to be believed, then there is no chance of Dobrev returning to The Vampire Diaries Season 8. Nikki Reed is using all her influence to make sure of it.

Will The Vampire Diaries continue after the end of season 8? Somerhalder hinted that the show would end after his departure but later backtracked on his comment, as reported by MStar News.

The 37-year-old actor is not the only one to exit the show after season 8. Kat Graham, who plays “Bonnie Bennett” in the popular series has also revealed of her departure.

It’s unlikely that The CW would want the show to continue after the eighth season, especially since Somerhalder’s exit. The series has seen a large decline in ratings ever since Dobrev left after season 6. With the show being shifted to the dreaded Friday night slot, there is a good chance that the upcoming season will be the last of The Vampire Diaries.

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 finale will air on May 13 on The CW.

Both the characters seem to have an intense look which could define the creative direction the show is trying to adapt. The pic shows bruised faces of both Miller and Purcell and the duo seems to be in the middle of a powerful moment.

It has been 9 years since the original Prison Break series ended in 2009. The shooting for the spin-off has already begun in Vancouver and other actors of the show have teased their looks as well on social media.

Rockmond Dunbar, who plays the character C-Note has posted a photo on Instagram which defines his look on the upcoming show. The new look Dunbar is hardly recognizable as the C-Note we know off. He is now sporting a full grown beard and has an Islamic look.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 3: Jon Snow still dead? Spoiler revealed by Kit Harington

Game of Thrones Season 6 episode 2 ended with Jon Snow’s revival. The entire fan base of the franchise erupted in cheers as the Lord Commander opened his eyes after Melisandre’s ritual. However, is Ned Stark’s bastard really alive as everyone is expecting him to be? If Kit Harington’s words are to be considered, then fans could either be disappointed or be excited with what awaits the character in episode 3 and beyond.

“At first, I was worried he’ll wake up and he’s the same, back to normal – then there’s no point in that death. He needs to change. He doesn’t want to die ever again. But, if he does, he doesn’t want to come back” Harington said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

According to Harington, Jon was never afraid of death before. However, since his visit to the other side of the line, Jon knows that there is nothing but emptiness present there. This has made him fear god. He does not want to die anymore. He is not the same Jon Snow as the viewer’s knew him to be.

So, does this mean that the fans can relate to him? If the character of Jon Snow changes after his return, could we really say that he is alive? According to the 29-year-old actor we can. The man from London, England suggested that Snow will now value his life more than before and this will only make him stronger to play the Game of Thrones.

One thing is certain, Jon Snow will not return from death once again. The producers of the show believe that the fans will not care for a character if there is always a chance of him coming back to life.  Hence, unlike Beric Dondarrion, Jon Snow is not immune to death anymore and should he die, we will not see him make a return.

Arrow Season 4 Spoilers: Finale plans revealed by producer; Season 5 hint given

Arrow Season 4 finale will air on May 25, 2016 and has been given the title “Schism”. Wendy Mericle, executive producer of The CW series recently revealed how the finale will turn out and how it will definitely provide a massive hint on the proceedings of Season 5.

“It’s pretty grim one, I’m sad to say. We have a huge number of potential fatalities. And you’ll definitely get a hint about where the team is headed for Season 5.” Mericle told TVLine.

The CW recently released the synopsis of Arrow Season 4 finale. With all the hints directing towards a large-scale showdown between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the synopsis teased an unexpected team-up for Oliver with “a surprising force”.

“Oliver teams up with a surprising force in an attempt to stop Damien Darhk and his magic once and for all” the synopsis read.

Meanwhile, Arrow Season 4 finale is rumored to follow the path shown by Season 2 Deathstroke battle. The producers have planned a large-scale showdown which has caused a part of Vancouver to be closed to accommodate it, as reported by comicbookresources.com.

Judging by what Mericle revealed, the ruthless killing spree of the Arrow characters will continue until the finale. There will be no end to the bloodshed and favorite characters will demise resulting in grimness.

While all the potential deaths may make the viewer’s sad, there is hope in the fact that the producers are not planning to keep all the explosions and cliffhangers saved until the final hour. Oliver’s little sister will “grapple” with her destiny as Speedy – as well as face off against an old foe – in the next few weeks.

Zuckerberg celebrates as Brazil lifts WhatsApp ban

Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg shared his excitement on social media after learning the news that a Brazilian judge lifted the ban on the Facebook-owned popular messenger, WhatsApp. The Brazilians celebrated the news and shared it on social media.

“WhatsApp is now back online in Brazil! Your voices have been heard once again. Thank you to our community for helping resolve this,” Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook post, via the Techcrunch.

“That said, the idea that everyone in Brazil can be denied freedom to communicate the way they want is very scary in a democracy. You and your friends can help make sure this never happens again, and I hope you get involved.”

The Facebook founder did not appreciate the order of the Brazilian court to ban WhatsApp for 72 hours. Zuckerberg wants one thing, and that to put a stop on blocking messaging services with the help of the users.

In addition to the celebration, Zuckerberg also urged the Brazilian people to show up the nation’s Congress on Wednesday to show their support for the introduction of laws that would prevent a state court from blocking messaging services like WhatsApp.

Access to the service has finally restored after it was blocked in Brazil for 24 hours when a state judge ordered for its suspension. WhatsApp has a huge presence in the country, more than 100 million people here use the messaging application.

Love the #Brazil trending #Nessas48HorasEuVou talking about what people will do instead of messaging on banned @WhatsApp .

— Lulu Garcia-Navarro (@lourdesgnavarro) December 17, 2015

A judge in the Brazilian state of Sergipe has ordered local phone providers to block access to WhatsApp for 72 hours, but the ban did not last. On Thursday,  a judge in Brazil has ordered the court to lift the suspension.

According to Rio Times Online, the suspension of WhatsApp highlighted the failure of the one company to turn over the system’s data, but Reuter said that WhatsApp has tried everything to comply with the court’s request, unfortunately, the company doesn’t have such facts to turn over.

This is not the first time that WhatsApp has been suspended. Last year, the service has also been banned for 48 hours after a Sao Paulo-based judge ordered for its suspension after it didn’t cooperate in a criminal investigation, which involved some access to its encrypted messaging services. Earlier this year, the same judge has also ordered the Brazil-based Facebook executive to jail after the company failed to comply with the court’s request for accessing its services.
