Street Fighter 5 DLC: You'll Need To Play 2,000 Matches To Afford New Characters?

When Capcom announced that the Street Fighter 5 DLC characters would be attainable with in-game currency, along with the option to use actual money, fans seemed to be relieved. However, like in a free-to-play mobile game, earning a lot of in-game currency isn’t as easy as it seems.

According to an article from Destructoid, one DLC character in Street Fighter 5 costs 100,000 in-game currency or fight money, as the game calls it. Players get 10,000 fight money for clearing the game’s relatively easy story mode and 6,000 when clearing survival mode with one character. They also get 50 when beating opponents online, with more fight money given if they level up their character.

Since the game has 16 characters to clear story mode and survival mode with, fans should be able to afford one or two of these DLC characters before Alex arrives next month. It’s admittedly not a perfect system, but Capcom should be commended for letting players get Street Fighter 5 DLC for free.

That being said, fans who want some of the game’s costumes from the store might get frustrated. The costumes from story mode, like Ryu’s Street Fighter Alpha attire and Chun-Li’s police outfit, cost 40,000 fight money, so they’re affordable. On the other hand, premium costumes will cost Zenny, which can only be obtained by spending real-life money.

Now costumes are just superficial at best, so those who are more concerned about getting new characters won’t mind not having too many. Those who do want the premium costumes will have to pay with real money though, which is pretty disappointing.

Players who want the six Street Fighter 5 DLC characters right away can simply buy the season pass for US$29.99. This gives players instant access to Alex, Juri, Balrog, Ibuki, Orien and Guile once they come out, though it’s not clear if it will give players Zenny for premium costumes.

Witcher 3 Game Of The Year: Here Are The Reasons Why It’s Been Voted As “The Best” – The Bitbag

Witcher 3 Wild Hunt has been named game of the year by Gamespot, which is now offering huge discount on the game.

The latest in the series of games by developer CD Projekt RED, the Witcher 3 is a massive, ambitious game, which sometimes feels like a bunch of smaller, stellar games that’ve been sewn together into a incredible whole. According to the Verge, it appears basically as medieval Grand Theft Auto at first glance, where you can steal, fight, and find your way across a massive open world. It’s a great hack-and-slash loot ‘em up like Diablo III and also a Game of Thrones-esque story-driven political thriller which includes a horrid war, religiously motivated ethnic cleansing, a struggle over succession, and a potential assassination. And then it also features several amazing characters who have their own history, besides featuring love triangles and a world-spanning treasure hunt.

The Witcher 3 also has one of the best gameplays and storylines for an open-world action RPG. You are a guardian to a girl child whose biological father is the most powerful man on the planet and he’s in the middle of a massive, world-rending war with his last remaining rival. The daughter you share is being chased by a crew of supernatural beings, who most people think is the the key to saving the world. You need the help of a repulsive local warlord, a drunken dwarf, a stoic rebel, a spoony bard, a spy chief turned underworld boss, a rowdy royal family, and a handful of witches who are also your ex-lovers to save her. The story-line of this game is pretty impressive with quite a bunch of characters and several moments that you wouldn’t easily forget.

The Witcher 3 is a genuinely well written video game, structured like a great television show with an epic overarching narrative supported by smaller stories to give the world depth according to Whatculture.com.  It is funny and heartfelt, featuring creative and engaging stories ranging from the humorous to the tragic, and all of it is handled with a greater sense of maturity than even past Witcher titles. It is quite easy for new players to play this game since it is able to strike perfect balance to work both as a conclusion to an ongoing series and a starting point for new players. The game also has fantastic visuals with revolutionary graphics and facial animations that feel quite realistic. It also a one of the best sound’tracks and awesome downloadable content that makes it one of the best games.

According to Attackofthefanboy.com, Gamespot is selling the game at huge discount of fifty percent offering both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game at just $29.99. Besides, GameStop is also offering the Hearts of Stone expansion for $9.99. The Hearts of Stone DLC is the first expansion of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” and it adds a total of 10 hours of gameplay to the base game.

So gamer should pick up this incredible game before the discount ends. The Witcher 3, meanwhile, is going to get a bigger expansion in mid-2016 called Blood and Wine.

Digimon World Next Order Gameplay: Similarities And Differences To First ‘Digimon World’ Game

After the success of “Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth” in Japan, Bandai Namco will soon be releasing “Digimon World: Next Order” for the PlayStation Vita. The game currently has a March 17 release date, so the developers have decided to release another gameplay trailer to whet the appetites of fans.

The trailer was originally shown during a Niconico livestream, according to Gematsu. Players can explore the Digimon World to their heart’s content, battle other Digimon and even digivolve into much stronger forms. Of course, that’s not all there is to the game, as players also have to play with their Digimon, feed them and even make sure they get enough sleep.

The game bears plenty of similarities to the very first “Digimon World” that came out on the original PlayStation. The game’s battle system is also similar to that, with the player giving their partners commands to follow to help secure the victory.

However, it also has a number of major differences from the original “Digimon World” game. For starters, players will be able to choose their gender and Digimon, which wasn’t possible in the first game. Players will also have two Digimon right away, starting with a duo of either Agumon and Gabumon or Biomon and Palmon.

Siliconera also pointed out some of the new battle mechanics, like the “Extra Cross System” or “Exe.” This mechanic will have the Digimon make a miracle evolution during battle and will likely change the tide of the fight drastically. This will depend on the bond the Digimon has with the player though.

Like the original “Digimon World” game, spending time with Digimon is essential for the monsters to do well in fights. It’s similar to how a person treats his or her pet animal, but with crazy evolutions and fireballs coming out of their mouths.

“Digimon World: Next Order” isn’t slated for a Western release, but that could change soon since “Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth” will be coming to the West next month. If fan reception is good enough, there’s a chance that this Vita game could come to Western stores.

Heroes Of The Storm New Characters: Who Are They And What We Know So Far

And they will stay awhile and listen to your ramblings.

Looks like Blizzard is still pumped up with their new MOBA game, as Heroes of the Storm will be getting new Heroes as part of their update. These two heroes will be hailing from the Diablo franchise; one of Blizzard’s hit game franchise and revolutionize the action RPG scene. Xul the Necromancer came from Diablo 2 and Li-Ming the Wizard is from Diablo 3, they will be joining the Heroes of the Storm roster soon along with Diablo regulars Sonya the Barbarian, Valla the Demon Hunter,Nazeebo the Witch Doctor, Kharazim the Monk along with the major characters Leoric, Tyrael, The Butcher and Diablo himself.

So far Li-Ming the Wizard will be the first character from the pair to be heading out first, a new hero spotlight video was revealed that showcases Li-Ming’s abilities which are the popular spells in the Diablo game. She has the Magic Missiles that can fire multiple missiles to a single target or can be changed to hit multiple targets, she also has Critical Mass spell that fires an orb to deal damage, but the farther you blasted the orb, the bigger it gets and the higher the damage. Li-Ming also has the signature teleport skill, which can move her instantly in short distances, and since it has a short cooldown, this can be done in repeated uses, she will also have two heroic abilities, the fan-favorite Disintegrate from the Diablo game, which fires a beam of arcane energy that can hit multiple target and can be aimed at different angles while firing, and the Wave of Force, which can damage and knocks back several targets.

Li-Ming can be a good Hero for poking enemies on clashes as well as a strategy in eliminating low health heroes. You can try out Li-Ming once she becomes available on Heroes of the Storm. As for Xul the Necromancer, no details on his list of abilities, but expect to see him soon with his horde of skeletons at his disposal.

Doom Reboot Updates: What We Know So Far

Check out some of things we learned about the upcoming Doom Reboot.

It has been quite some since we last saw Doom 3, and then we eventually saw a re-release version last 2012. Now Bethesda, the team behind great titles such as The Elder Scrolls and the Fallout games, will be releasing a reboot for Doom. After eight long years of development, we are finally getting a release date for the Doom reboot. So what makes the new Doom game different from the previous game? Here are the things that we found out about Doom.

Id Software will still be developing the game

Surprisingly, id Software will still be handling the game after a long hiatus in releasing new games. The most recent was for the re-release version of Doom 3, called Doom 3: BFG Edition. Their most recent original ip released game was Rage, which was released in 2011. Unfortunately, co-founder John Carmack , who was also the lead programmer for the Doom games, has left iD Software in 2013 for Oculus VR.

Originally planned as Doom 4

In 2008, Doom 4 was announced by former lead developer John Carmack. However, it was reported on 2013 by Kotaku that Doom 4 was trapped in development hell where it was mismanaged and the developers decided to restart the program from scratch in 2011. This then lead to the development of the reboot that was announced in 2013.

Doom Reboot will be a lot different from Doom 3

In Doom 3, the gameplay was filled with jump-scare scenes and the entire environment is always dark. These will be changed in the next Doom game, as id Software producer Marty Stratton says that the key principles of the reboot game will be “badass demons, big effing guns, and moving really fast”. The gameplay is more on speed and momentum. unlike in the current gen shooters where you are required to cover and shoot, in the Doom Reboot, you will keep on shooting and moving forward.

More weapons and more badass monsters

An arsenal of weapons were promised for the new Doom game, including the fan-favorite melee chainsaw, where you can split enemies into two. Some of the classic weapons like the BFG 9000 and super shotgun will make its return. Some of the monsters from the original games will be returning as well, from Revenant, Mancubus to the Cyberdemon.

We are pretty sure you guys are all excited about the upcoming Doom reboot, so mark your calendars on May 13, 2016 as Doom will be released for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
