MacBook Pro 2016 Release Pushed Back To Q3-Q4?

While the whole world is excited about the upcoming gadgets to be launched at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, techies who are excited about Apple’s MacBook line may have to wait a lot longer as reports have surfaced that the MacBook Pro 2016, which is expected to be available in the first quarter of this year, could potentially be delayed according to The Christian Post.

According to Yibada, the cause of the potential delay in the release of the MacBook Pro 2016 could be another Apple product, the iPad Pro. The two devices are likely to attract the same consumers and the Cupertino-based tech giant may want to have a larger interval between the release of the two products in order for the sales to be unaffected by each other.

The MacBook Pro 2016 was expected to be available in two variants, the 13-inch version and 15-inch version. The initial reports were that the 13-inch MacBook Pro would be released in either March or April with the 15-inch version seeing a later release date.

Now, it may be possible that Apple could delay both releases until the third or fourth quarter of the year to focus more on the iPad Pro and other handheld devices that they are expected to unveil at the special media event the company is scheduled to have in March.

While a delayed release may disappoint fans of the MacBook Pro, the wait will be well worth it as the upcoming model of the popular laptop from Apple is packed with excellent features. Early reports have indicated that it will likely have Intel’s faster Skylake processors. It is also expected to have Thunderbolt 3 ports with a USB-C connector and will be running on OS X El Capitan. Be sure you watch out for more updates about the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 and find out when exactly you can get your hands on this amazing device.

How New Google Drive File Sharing Options Will Make Life Easier

If you haven’t been using Google Drive to store your files, then you’re not living the digital life the right way. Ever since 2012, Google Drive—or GDrive as some people like to call it—has been giving the other digital storage providers a run for its money. And with some of the changes made to its web interface, it can easily be the most efficient cloud storage option there is today.

Ease of Movement

Perhaps one of the biggest changes in the interface is the ability to organize your stuff in an easier manner! This is something that’s been bugging anybody who’s used these cloud storage apps; there’s just no way of arranging your files in a neat hierarchy without having either a desktop interface (which GDrive also has, by the way), or going to the files and manually assigning them to a folder.

With the updates to GDrive, however, you can just drag and drop these folders the way you do them on the desktop. This makes it easier to move files around when you need to archive some documents that you just don’t want to get rid of; or it also makes it easier to batch-share a set of files. Just be aware that you’ll have to be meticulous with your sharing settings. More on that later.

Easier Saving

Another pet peeve of the early GDrive adopters is that there used to be no easy way of organizing files that have been shared with you. What happens is that whenever you need to find a document shared by your boss the other day, you need to go through the shared files history tab in order to find what you need. And if you’ve been sharing files a lot, then you’ll be digging through a lot of stuff.

So what Google did, is they gave you the ability to assign shared files to a specific folder. Once a file is shared with you, you can just view it on your browser window, and move it to a folder of your choice using the in-app taskbar tools. There’s also an option to move files around by clicking and dragging them, as was mentioned in the previous section of this article, which makes this an even easier endeavor altogether.

Smarter sharing

Perhaps the easiest, and the best, feature of GDrive is smart sharing. Unlike some cloud storage apps that feature clunky privacy and sharing capabilities, GDrive’s file sharing capabilities has always been intuitive, with folder- and subfolder-level sharing options.

But Google has pushed this envelope even further. With their latest sharing and security improvements, users now have the option of sharing files and directories in three separate manners. The first is by making the file public. This means that everybody who has the link can access the file. Then there’s the secondary level of security, wherein only the people in a list of the users choosing can access the file. And then there’s the level of access granted to users—some users can completely edit the file’s content and sharing settings, while others can only view and comment.

An additional setting reserved specifically for business users tie the GDrive servers up with the business owner’s domain name. This is a slight modification of the secondary option listed in the previous paragraph, wherein only individuals with company accounts can view and access certain files.

GDrive also boasts plenty of other hidden tricks that integrate its usage with the other products Google has on the table, but these are perhaps the most integral to its current function. And thanks to these improvements, Google is slowly making the days of local data storage a thing of the not so distant past.

Apple may be launching MacBook Pro 2016 along with iPhone 5se in March

Amidst multiple rumors about the 4-inch iPhone, iPhone 5Se launching in March, reports indicates that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will also be launched in the same month. Apparently, Apple is rumored to release a number of other devices during March.

According to MacRumors, Apple will be unveiling the much-awaited laptop with Intel’s new Skylake processors. It is also speculated that the company may start the production of the 13-inch MacBook Pro sometime in late March.

Although all the rumors are indicating that the MacBook Pro 2016 models could be unveiled in March, there’s no official confirmation on the same has been made.

Other reports claim that the Cupertino-based company is planning to release a new model of iPad Air with a third generation device along with iPhone 5se. Furthermore, Apple Watch will also said be launched along with FaceTime camera and new straps.

Meanwhile, some rumors were circumventing that the launch of the 13-inch MacBook Pro will be pushed to later on in the year for World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2016 event, and the 15-inch bigger model of the device would be ready to hit stores after the event is done.

Apple launched the 13-inch model of MacBook Pro last year with a Broadwell chip whereas the bigger 15-inch model sported a Haswell chip.

Recently, Intel has been producing the Skylake processors and  declared that the company is producing chipset which can be used in the new versions of the 13 inch MacBook Pro. While, the announcement also came that processors are in production which would replace the chips of the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro.

Apple is not the company which would lose the opportunity, so it makes sense that the company would include all these new processors in the upcoming versions of MacBook Pro 2016 lineup.

Acer’s New Predator Monitor, Released; How Much It Cost? Check Here!

The long wait is over!

According to a report from Digital Trends, Acer has finally released its newest 32-inch 4K gaming monitor, after being teased back in November.

The Predator XB321HK is now in stores and you might want to get one for you to experience an amazing gaming experience.

According to the Digital Trends’ article, the IPS display doesn’t skimp on the features but it boasts a four millisecond response time for lightning fast gaming, and a 60 hertz refresh rate.

If you can’t reach a solid 60 frames per second, the Acer has a built-in G-Sync, Nvidia’s adaptive refresh technology that matches the refresh rate of the monitor to the current system frame rate, as long as you have an Nvidia 650 Ti Boost or newer, the report revealed.

The story also bared the specs of the XB321HK which is compatible with HDMI, DisplayPort 1.2, and includes a USB 3.0 hub with four ports. It also has a pair of two watt stereo speakers, as well, for those without a separate set already. The stand has a wide range of motion, with a 4.7 inch up-down movement and -5 to 25 degree tilt.

But wait there’s more…

If the screen affects your eyes negatively, Acer has an answer – the Acer Eye Protect, which filters out unnecessary flickering and blue light. It can also filter blue light for a comfortable long-term viewing through the Comfy View.

The newest predator monitor shows some resemblance to XB280HK, another gaming monitor which was awarded an editor’s choice by Digital Trends for its solid build quality and excellent image quality calibration.

With all these developments and innovations, the Acer XB321HK seems to be pricey. Its suggested retail price is at $1,300. However, Acer’s new gaming monitor has no competitor yet in the market. According to Digital Trends, UHD panels with gaming features like G-Sync are few and far between.
