Mad Series: What Fires Up Jennifer Lawrence?

Jennifer Lawrence can be the walking emoji.  We’ve seen her interviews and clearly, she always wears her emotions all over her face.  But what can make JLaw turn a smiling emoji to an angry emoji ? Here’s a rundown. Hollywood’s gender pay gap The Hunger Games actor has come out against the issue on Hollywood’s gender pay inequality after the hacking incident at Sony.  Despite her major role in the film, American Hustle and earning the reputation as a Hollywood A-lister and Oscar winner, it was found out that she earned significantly less than her male co-stars. She addressed the issue by writing an essay for her friend Lena Dunham’s Lenny Letter newsletter. Jennifer Lawrence Films Jennifer Lawrence Mental Health Struggles: Social AnxietyLike us on Facebook Using mobile phone during press conference Jennifer Lawrence won Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy for the film Joy at the Golden Globes 2016.  During the winner’s press conference, JLaw had an outburst when she called out to a foreign reporter as he was asking her question without eye contact.  In an attempt to give him a lesson on mobile phone use, she said, “You can’t just live your life behind your phone, bro. You can’t do that – you’ve got to live in the now.”  It seems like a joke at first, as the crowd laughed and the reporter also apologized.  The reporter then proceeds to ask her a follow up question about the upcoming Academy Awards when she cuts him off again saying: “We’re at the Golden Globes.  If you’d put your phone down, you know that” Whatever the reason for the correspondent on using his phone was unknown, the public’s general view on that incident came out as JLaw being rude to the foreign reporter who probably needed his phone for translation purposes. Spoilers Well, who doesn’t hate spoilers?  Especially on your favorite TV show.  The “American Hustle” star had a major fangirl moment on the 2014 SAG Awards red carpet when she noticed “Homeland’s” Damian Lewis being interviewed next to her.  The conversation started off well enough as JLaw and Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson were excited for the superfan’s moment.  But it took the plunge when Robinson asked Lawrence of her reaction that Lewis’ character, Brody was killed off on the third season.  This left Lawrence clearly surprised as she haven’t started watching the third season as she was still waiting for the DVDs to come out.  JLaw truly felt upset of the information that all she wanted to talk about was how bad she felt on that moment despite Robinson trying her best to change the subject. Hackers stealing photos and posted online The actress was among the celebrity victims of a private photo hacking spree in 2014, which she thought of as a “ crime.”  In a statement through Vanity Fair, the “Hunger Games” trilogy star was angered and also afraid of what it can do to her career.  Quite the outspoken person that she is, Jennifer said that she’s having a hard time understanding the mentality of those who violently hacked her private life or even forgive those people who were eager to view the pictures. Jennifer Lawrence is definitely one of those people you can’t help but love.  She’s real, expressive and uninhibited.  Just don’t give her reason to turn into a full angry red emoji.
