Use all of the new toys your children got as an opportunity to go through your children’s toys and get rid of some of the toys they no longer play with. Fill up one of the cardboard boxes you have lying around the home with some of these old toys and donate them to Goodwill using the free shipping program. Per Scary Mom, you can visit the Give Back Box to print off a free shipping label. Then, you can place the label on the box and drop it off at any post office or UPS store. If you are unable to make it out of your home to drop off the package, you can even call the post office or UPS to have the package picked up from your home. Then, you just leave the box out for the carrier to pick up. 500 rebels cross Turkish border towards Syrian town of Azaz

A separate part of the agreement, calling on combatants to allow “immediate” humanitarian access to besieged civilian towns and cities in Syria, was also delayed.

Determined to prevent the YPG from gaining a foothold on its border, Turkey has shelled its positions in response to what it says is fire coming across the border.
The YPG militia is moving ahead with its westward advance to link up with a Syrian Kurdish canton. Syria’s state news agency SANA and opposition activists said government forces have seized two more villages.
“What we want is to create a secure strip, including Azaz, ten kilometers deep inside Syria and this zone should be free from clashes”, Akdogan told Turkey’s AHaber TV, according to Reuters.
“That’s why there are chances for progress and there is a need for joint efforts to do everything so that they are implemented in practice”, the diplomat said stressing that Russian Federation “for its part is ready for such a work with all the partners”.
USA support for the Syrian Kurds, Turkey’s ambassador to Washington Serdar Kilic said in an interview, “is a big strategic mistake…it will be regretted, but it will be too late”. However, the official could not give any photographic evidence of the attacks, or say when and where they occurred.
“They were Russian aircraft that carried it out, these strikes”, Toner said. Hezbollah’s fighters are in Syria, supporting Assad’s forces. But a ground intervention risks conflict with Russian Federation, which backs the Kurds militarily, and would anger the US, which sees the group as a major ally in the fight against Islamic State.
Still, he stressed that the situation in northern Syria is “very complex, very volatile”. There were fresh reports Thursday of the Syrian government army continuing at least one offensive. The move would lead to SDF forces entering Marea without fighting in what would save the town from wide destruction by Russian warplanes.
Turkey views the Syrian Kurdish fighters as an extension of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, which has waged a decades-long insurgency against Ankara.
At least 22 have been killed in airstrikes against two hospitals in Syria.
Doctors Without Borders said a hospital it funds in Maarat al-Numan, in Idlib province, was hit by four rockets in attacks that were minutes apart, killing seven people and leaving eight staff members missing and presumed dead.
The Syrian government has also continued using “barrel bombs”, he said.
Erdogan on Wednesday condemned the United States’ lack of support for Ankara’s proposed no-fly zone over Northern Syria.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has heavily criticized the role played by the American administration in the Syrian conflict, claiming that the USA must decide which side it is on – Turkey’s side or the side of the Kurdish rebel group YPG.
United Nations envoy Staffan de Mistura met Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem in Damascus yesterday to try to keep alive the proposal announced by world powers in Munich early Friday for a “cessation of hostilities” in Syria within a week.

WSJ Poll: Trump Losing Ground In South Carolina

But his criticism of former Republican president George W Bush’s actions has aggravated some in his party, including in SC, which holds its Republican primary on Saturday. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) can win the general election. “I’ll never let you down!”

Most South Carolina polling has not shown that Trump’s long-running double-digit lead in the state is slipping. But if Cruz can place close to Trump in SC, it might be a sign that Trump is a vulnerable front-runner, whose outrageous attacks and break-the-rules behavior is finally catching up to him.
But, South Carolina has other important roles to play in the GOP field.
“He could have lied – maybe he did, maybe he didn’t”, Trump said on NBC’s Today show.
Saying he is backed by traditional conservatives, evangelicals, Ronald Reagan Democrats, and young people, Cruz said he is re-assembling “that old Reagan coalition”. There are many religious conservatives in SC, and Cruz is hoping to keep their momentum going.
Cruz will not be in the state for part of primary day itself – he will fly to Washington to attend the funeral of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Ted Cruz, whose campaign headquarters is packed with volunteers.
Rubio, a Florida senator, toured the state with high-profile SC supporters, including popular Gov. Nikki Haley.
With Kasich’s ad, which appears to be his campaign’s first public comments on the issue, four of the six remaining Republican candidates for president are on the record supporting the transfer of ownership of American public lands and energy resources to state or private control. He’s honest. He is modest.
The simple fact, as I have noted in this space before, is that Bush has to have a top three finish in SC on Saturday to continue on in the race as a serious candidate. State Director James Merrill said the campaign expected to have 250 volunteers in each of the state’s four regions in the final days before the primary.
Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, also said he plans to stay in the race until a gaggle of primaries in mostly southern states on March 1.
“We just need to take our policies to people that haven’t regularly voted for us in the past, communities that would benefit from what we stand for, but perhaps have been told that Republicans don’t care about people like them”, he said.

Saudi Arabia halts $4B in Lebanese deals amid Iran dispute

Riyadh cut diplomatic ties with Tehran last month after demonstrators stormed its embassy and a consulate following the Saudi execution of a prominent Saudi Shiite cleric and activist.

On Friday, a Saudi official was quoted by state-run Saudi Press Agency as saying the Iran-backed Hezbollah had “hijacked the will of the state in Lebanon” and “is perpetrating terrorism against Saudi Arabia, the Arab nation and the Muslim nation”. Iran, however, has refused to join, reiterating its plan to crank up output and regain lost market share after the worldwide sanctions against Tehran were lifted in January.
Nasrallah said the two countries have pushed to send worldwide ground forces to Syria because they “are not ready to accept a political solution to the conflict in Syria, which is why they want to continue the war and destroy it”.
Saudi Arabia long has been suspicious of Iran, which also supports Syria’s embattled President Bashar Assad.
Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, a key ally of Saudi Arabia, blamed the suspension on the Shiite group Hezbollah and its Christian ally, the Free Patriotic Movement.
“The announcement also said Saudi Arabia supported Lebanon “without any discrimination between Lebanese sects or segments”.
An unnamed Saudi official claimed that the “so-called Hezbollah” has “confiscated” the will of Lebanon and is taking the lead against the kingdom, as well as other Arab and Islamic nations.
The Ministry issued a statement on Friday expressing solidarity with the Saudi initiative based on the “hijacking” of Lebanon’s foreign policy by the Iran-allied Lebanese militant group Hezbullah, according to a report by national news agency WAM.
The Lebanese army, however, serves as unifying factor in the country and recruits its members from all confessions.
Hezbollah leaders are under sanction by Saudi Arabia, as well as by much of the West.
The current oil crisis is not a product of another supply and demand cycle, but the result of a structural shift caused by the ascent of shale oil in the United States and the loss of Saudi Arabia’s ability to control global oil prices. The Saudi pledge by the late King Abdullah, announced in December 2013, was described at the time as the largest-ever single grant to the Lebanese armed forces.
Even if all Opec members, including Iran, agree to comply with the target, high production will still keep oil prices low, depressing the economic outlook for Gulf states.
A preliminary agreement between Russia and three OPEC countries on a possible crude production freeze at January levels implies Russian output could grow by between 1.7% and 1.9% year on year, deputy energy minister Kirill Molodtsov said.
Gambrell reported from Dubai.

Malcolm Jenkins gets five-year deal with Eagles

With all of the coaching changes going on, and the alterations to the roster, the Eagles needed to get their defense locked in.

The Philadelphia Eagles agreed to terms with the Pro Bowl safety Monday on a new five-year contract.
How the new deal impacts Jenkins’ salary isn’t yet known, but it is safe to say it will lower his cap hit for the 2016 season.
In two seasons with the Eagles, Jenkins has totaled 189 tackles, five forced fumbles and five interceptions. He returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown last season against the Patriots for his fifth career defensive score.
“Malcolm has proven himself as a leader on and off the field”, VP of football operations (and de facto GM) Howie Roseman said in a statement released by the team. Giving Jenkins the extension does that and allows the team to build around him. Jenkins brought his championship pedigree to Philadelphia, helping to solidify the safety position while adding a proven veteran to bolster the team’s leadership.
Jenkins is the latest in a long line of Eagles who have gotten new contracts this offseason, joining Vinny Curry, Lane Johnson, Brent Celek and Zach Ertz.

Nicotero, Riggs & NSFW Photos Share Secrets of Pivotal “Walking Dead” Scene

What does the four-minute preview of “No Way Out”, The Walking Dead’s midseason return augur for the rest of Season 6? While showrunner Scott M. Gimple previously told THR that “Rick’s hand is safe”, we wouldn’t be surprised to see one of the former sheriff’s hands be savagely chopped off this season after AMC skipped over that reveal during The Governor’s arc. Since November, we’ve known that Negan is coming in the second half of the season, and that the character, who is part of Robert Kirkman’s comic book series, will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The Walking Dead episode 9 director Greg Nicotero gave Tech Insider a huge spoiler, indicating that Carl will indeed turn to the dark side. They’re outnumbered by Negan’s well-armed cronies. Finally snapping over the events from the past few weeks, Ron pulls a gun on Carl.

Best of all, the premiere still managed to set up new territory to explore in the process of sweeping out all the old. In “The Walking Dead’s” case, there must be enough dramatic plot elements to do that.
I don’t want to get too specific-I’ll be plenty specific in The Walking Dead recap on Monday morning-but there is/are a character(s) whose death feels wrong in a way I don’t remember having encountered from the series before. When she gets inside, they look out the window and see Michonne and Rick running with Carl in Rick’s arms. Without spoiling anything, we’ll just reiterate that in the comics, the hand-holding brigade fails to make their way through the sea of walkers without a casualty (or more).
Meanwhile, Glenn and Enid have made it into the walls and Glenn sends Enid up to help Maggie, while Glenn starts shooting to distract them.
The Walking Deadseason 6 midseason premiere is just hours away, and there’s a lot that AMC’s 2016 debut episode must do if it hopes to please fans.
Warning: There are massive spoilers ahead if you’re not caught up with “The Walking Dead“.
To commemorate the return of the popular TV series together with Valentine’s Day, Hallmark and AMC have teamed up to bring us Walking Dead Valentine’s Day Cards. Abraham and Sasha mow down the walkers as they close in on Glenn, hallelujah.
To understand that, we need to go back to this season’s sixth episode, Always Accountable, in which Daryl met the man we now know to be Dwight. This seems less likely to me, as Abraham’s death wouldn’t have almost the impact that Glenn’s did, but it still seems that Michael Cudlitz is on his way out. He also promised that as the zombies invade Alexandria, viewers can also expect more walkers that can fill their night with more creeps and fright.

Rider grabs wheel of NYC bus, takes it on brief joy ride

A woman took an MTA bus for a ride on Tuesday morning after the driver tried to boot her for lighting up a cigarette inside, police said.

The woman, named by the New York Times as Charita Headley, was sacked from her job as a bus driver last July for extended absences, according to the paper. But before he realized what was happening, the bus began to pull away with no one else on board and the driver left helplessly on the curb.
The 34-year-old first caused a commotion on the M101 bus traveling north on Third Ave. when she popped a cigarette in her mouth and lit it up, officials said.
It happened near the 96th Street stop around 7:10 a.m. Moments later, he took the bus out of service and evacuated the passengers.
While the bus was taken out of commission and passengers were getting off, Headly jumped into the driver’s seat and took off, authorities said.
A dispatcher managed to reach through the window and pull a switch to stop the bus.
The woman, who police described as emotionally disturbed, was arrested and transported to Metropolitan Hospital for evaluation, officials said. The charges against her weren’t immediately clear.

Lady Gaga’s tattoo tribute to David Bowie

Lady Gaga’s tribute to the late David Bowie during the Grammy Awards on Monday night received mixed reviews from his fans, and someone who is much more than a fan seemed to be largely disappointed.

Midway through her rockin’ performance Gaga ditched the cape with one explosive movement revealing a classic Bowie-esque jumpsuit with sparkly embellishments throughout.
Two days before performing at the Grammys, Gaga posted a photo and video on Snapchat of her getting a tattoo in honor of Bowie.
The tribute began with just a projection of her face on a large screen channeling Bowie’s famous alter-ego Ziggy Stardust.
Still, Duncan might have seen something else that everyone didn’t notice through the visual effects and lights.
If you hated that Lady Gaga David Bowie tribute at the Grammy Awards then guess what?
Having arrived at the awards show in Los Angeles on Monday, she opened the performance dressed as Ziggy Stardust in an orange wig and elaborate eye makeup complete with newly dyed red hair.
If anybody was going to do David Bowie justice, it’s Lady Gaga.
Duncan Jones delivered a subtle diss to Mother Monster via Twitter, making his feelings about her Grammys number fairly clear.
She said: ‘When I was 19 years old… While most reviews were complimentary, some Bowie fans have said that they wished Gaga would have toned it down a notch and just focused on a couple of songs instead of jumping all over the place.
As previously announced, Gaga was selected to pay a musical tribute to Bowie, who passed away last January 10 at the age of 69.
“I have a lot of ink already on my body, different sort of artistic prayers and thoughts and things that mean something to me, but I always wanted to get a tattoo of somebody that changed my life. I don’t know what my identity would be”.

Rechargeable battery shipments to be barred from airliners

A similar fear was expressed later by the US Federal Aviation Administration, which said a battery-related explosion could seriously compromise plane safety. The International Civil Aviation Organization has declared that as of 1 April, lithium ion batteries can not be carried in the cargo holds of passenger aircraft, pending development of “a new fire-resistant packaging standard”.This file frame grab from video, provided by the Federal… Many airlines had already stopped accepting cargo loads of batteries on passenger aircraft. At least two deadly cargo jet crashes have been blamed on fires caused by these batteries.
